WHO WE ARE
The GLC Empowerment Center, also known as Nana's House, is dedicated to empowering young women aged 14 to 24. Our mission is to offer educational counseling, job training, rescue, shelter, and comprehensive support. We aim to equip these young women with the tools they need to become educated, confident, and capable members of society, ready to take on their rightful places.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to ignite a drive for success and personal growth in the young women of Chicago, guiding them through the unique challenges of this transitional phase in their lives with care and support.
The GLC Empowerment Center was founded in response to a critical need for inspiration and support for the young women in our community. Since our establishment in 2020, we have been driven by innovative ideas, courageous initiatives, and a solid foundation of support.
